Art is not an addition to space, but an integral part of space construction — this is the core concept behind this series of custom art installations. Co-designed with Core Art Strategy Company, each work is conceived by Mohamad Makouk, founder and creative director of the company, who defines the concept, space and narrative positioning of each installation before technical development. MATTEO is responsible for engineering, detailed design and overall production, transforming each original concept into a precisely implementable and installable real work, achieving a high unity of original design and implementation.

Created during the global standstill period, "Between Heaven and Earth" is a large-scale custom hotel art chandelier designed by Mohamad Makouk for the atrium of St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, Doha. Initially conceived during his tenure at Anima Gallery, the work reflects a period of quiet reflection during the pandemic, translating the pursuit of simplicity, connection and openness into spatial form. Integrating floral elements and flying bird group shapes, it creates a dialogue between rooting and stretching, earth and sky. Suspended in the atrium, this large-scale Murano glass art installation becomes the core vertical landscape, shaping the space through light, dynamics and scale. Led by KEVIN XIA, MATTEO completed the detailed design, engineering implementation and production, perfectly presenting this high-end custom art installation, which is part of the long-term cooperation between MATTEO and Mohamad Makouk, now continued through Core Art Strategy Company.
